We get asked this on almost every booking call, so here’s the short version.

If it’s your first time renting a real sports car: start with the Ford Mustang GT or the Corvette Stingray. They’re powerful enough to feel like an event, forgiving enough that you’re not white-knuckling every roundabout on Storrow Drive, and priced so a weekend rental doesn’t sting.

If it’s an occasion (birthday, anniversary, first date, marketing shoot): the Corvette C8 Convertible or the BMW i8. Both look like nothing else on the road in Boston, and both photograph exceptionally well.

If you want the fastest thing in the sports car tier: Porsche 911 Turbo S Convertible. All-wheel drive, twin-turbo flat-six, 0–60 in 2.6 seconds, and small enough to be genuinely usable in downtown Boston. It’s the car experienced drivers tend to book on repeat.

• Route 128 (I-95) west out toward the North Shore for a proper highway run

Places to be careful:

• Downtown Boston during rush hour — a Corvette C8’s front splitter meets more speed bumps than it should
• Beacon Hill’s narrow cobblestone streets — technically fine, but you’ll scrape a wheel eventually
• North End on a Saturday night — beautiful, crowded, and every mirror is at risk
• Any coastal parking lot in July — Cape traffic ruins the whole point

How old do I have to be? 25 with a valid US driver’s license, major credit card in your name, proof of full-coverage personal auto insurance or purchase of our coverage, and a clean recent driving record. Certain higher-performance vehicles may require age 28.

Do you deliver to Logan Airport? Yes. We deliver to Logan (BOS), hotels, wedding venues, and residential addresses throughout Greater Boston. Delivery is free at our shop and quoted at booking for other locations.

Can I rent a sports car for a wedding, prom, or photoshoot? Yes, and they’re among our most-requested rentals for these occasions. Book at least 60 days out for weddings, 30 days for prom, and 2 weeks minimum for commercial photoshoots.

What’s the difference between a sports car, a supercar, and an exotic? Sports cars are performance-focused production vehicles (Porsche 911, Corvette, Mustang GT). Supercars are limited-production high-performance vehicles (Ferrari F8 Tributo, Lamborghini Huracán). Exotics is broader and includes ultra-luxury like Rolls-Royce and Bentley. Our fleet covers all three tiers on separate pages.

Is there a mileage limit? Yes — 100 miles per day on most vehicles, 150 on select ones. Additional miles are billed per mile. Longer trips (Cape Cod, Newport, White Mountains) can have extra miles built into the quote at booking.

Can I rent a sports car in Boston in the winter? Yes, but be honest with yourself about the forecast. Most sports cars in this fleet are rear-wheel drive on summer tires and are not appropriate for snow, ice, or heavy rain. The Porsche 911 Turbo S is AWD and the only weather-tolerant option in the sports car tier. If winter conditions are certain, consider our luxury SUV fleet instead.

What insurance do I need? Either proof of a personal auto policy with comprehensive and collision coverage that transfers to a non-owned high-performance rental (with adequate liability limits), or purchase our per-day coverage. Credit card rental coverage explicitly excludes high-performance and exotic vehicles — do not assume your card covers this.
