The F8 Tributo is one of the last purely gasoline-powered V8 Ferraris the factory ever built. Its successor, the 296 GTB, is a plug-in hybrid. That’s not a small detail — it’s the whole reason this car matters. If you want the sound and feel of a naturally-turbocharged Ferrari V8 without a battery or an electric motor in the mix, this is the car, and there are only so many of them left in specialist rental fleets before they all get retired or sold off.
Ours is the silver coupe: mid-engined, rear-wheel drive, 710 horsepower, 211 mph top speed, and one of the best-looking Ferraris of the last 20 years thanks to the twin-taillamp rear that pays tribute to the old F430. We keep it in showroom condition and can deliver it to Logan Airport, a hotel, a wedding venue, or a photoshoot address anywhere in Greater Boston.
Ferrari built the F8 Tributo from 2019 through 2022/2023 as the direct replacement for the 488 GTB. It uses a further-developed version of the 488 Pista’s engine — the same twin-turbo 3.9-liter V8 that won International Engine of the Year four years in a row.

We rent Lamborghinis, McLarens, and Rolls-Royces from the same shop, and the F8 is the one most experienced drivers immediately recognize as a completely different animal. Two reasons.
First, the throttle response. Ferrari’s turbocharger control on the F8 uses sensors developed from the 488 Challenge race car and is designed specifically to hide the turbo lag that used to define twin-turbo cars. On the road, the result is startling — squeeze the throttle in third gear at 4,000 rpm and there’s no pause, no build, just a hard hit of torque that stays flat until 8,000 rpm. It doesn’t feel like a turbocharged engine. That’s the point.
Second, the sound. Compared to the naturally-aspirated V12 of a Lamborghini Aventador, the F8 is more mechanical, more precise, less operatic. It’s not louder. It’s more focused. If the Aventador is a symphony, the F8 is a jazz solo — smaller ensemble, tighter, more responsive to what your right foot is doing in the moment.
Third, and most underrated: it’s small. At about 3,164 pounds and roughly the footprint of a Porsche 911, the F8 is one of the few current supercars you can actually drive through the Back Bay or the North End without white-knuckling every mirror. That’s a real advantage over an Aventador or a Rolls-Royce Ghost on Boston streets.

If you’re not sure whether your existing insurance covers an exotic rental (short version: most personal auto policies don’t fully cover a Ferrari, and credit-card rental coverage explicitly excludes exotics), we walk through it on our what you need to rent a luxury car guide.
If the F8 is booked for your date, or if it’s not quite the right car for the occasion:
Use the booking form on this page for instant availability, or call the shop at (617) 539-7529. For a $1,899/day rental, we recommend a five-minute phone call to confirm delivery, coverage options, and any special requests — that’s almost always what our clients prefer anyway.
Booking requirements are on our FAQ page. International visitors arriving at Logan: message ahead and we’ll pre-verify your documents by email so pickup is a signature, not a paperwork session.
How much does it cost to rent the Silver Ferrari F8 Tributo in Boston? $1,899 per day at our Hanover Street shop. Multi-day and weekend rates are available on request. A refundable $5,000 security deposit is held on a major credit card at pickup.
How many people fit in the F8 Tributo? Two. Strict two-seater, two-door coupe. Front trunk holds about 7.1 cubic feet — two soft carry-ons or a weekender bag.
What are the specs of the Ferrari F8 Tributo? Twin-turbocharged 3.9-liter V8, 710 hp, 568 lb-ft of torque, 0–60 in 2.9 seconds, top speed 211 mph, 7-speed dual-clutch transmission, rear-wheel drive, mid-engined layout.
Is the F8 Tributo all-wheel drive? No. Rear-wheel drive only. Ferrari has never made an AWD F8. If you need AWD for weather or traction reasons, our Lamborghini Urus is the direct alternative.
Do you deliver to Logan Airport? Yes. We deliver to Boston Logan (BOS), hotels, event venues, and residential addresses in Greater Boston. Delivery is free at the shop and quoted at booking for other locations.
What’s the minimum age to rent this car? 25 years old with a valid US driver’s license, a major credit card in your name, proof of qualifying personal auto insurance (or our coverage), and a clean recent driving record.
Is there a mileage limit? Yes — 100 miles per day is included in the daily rate. Additional miles are billed per mile. If you’re planning a longer drive (Newport, Provincetown, up to Portland), tell us at booking and we’ll build the miles into your quote.
Can I rent the F8 Tributo for a wedding or photoshoot? Yes, and it’s one of our most-requested vehicles for both. Silver photographs cleanly under Boston’s variable light. See our wedding car rentals page for occasion pricing.
What if I’ve never driven a Ferrari? No experience required. We do a 10-minute walk-through at pickup: starter procedure, DCT paddle controls, manettino drive-mode dial, front-axle lift for driveways, launch control if you want to try it, and the parking-brake logic.
How does the F8 Tributo compare to the Lamborghini Aventador you rent? Different cars entirely. The F8 is smaller, tighter, more precise, turbocharged, rear-wheel drive. The Aventador S is larger, more theatrical, naturally-aspirated V12, all-wheel drive. If the priority is pure driving feel on a back road, take the Ferrari. If it’s a grand-entrance moment where the car itself is the event, take the Lambo.
